Bruce Benzel—Territory Sales Manager:
Make the best you can possibly make. And that was the mindset from the beginning and it's that way today. The Inspire Cabinets are just a continuation of the philosophy of "build It better—and the best."

Michael Mullen—General Manager of Dental Furniture:
A-dec Inspire is a dental furniture product line that was developed with a goal to be the premium dental furniture product line within the industry. It met or exceeded the industry's expectations of what it could provide, both from a quality perspective as well as a serviceability perspective, that really was not seen in the industry before. The goal of the product was to really make something that was not just a cabinet that looked great. It had to perform within this very demanding environment of dentistry. And that included not only ease of installation, but ability to service over time, and to deal with the hourly demands that are put on this equipment and in this space. So, it may look like a nice cabinet on the outside. It's very high precision cabinetry on the outside of the cabinet, but as soon as you look through the product and through all of the features you see that we've designed and specified all the materials to meet the needs of dentistry. We've purpose-built all of the feature sets that are very specific to dentistry, and we only sell it to dentistry.

Bruce Benzel—Territory Sales Manager:
In terms of design, A-dec's been doing this for over 40 years of continually improving and designing dental furniture. Everything that we do at A-dec is designed to enhance the doctor's ability to work on the oral cavity. Inspire is a combination of all of our engineering skills and our understanding and experience of what goes on in the dental operatory. There's a lot of engineering that goes into a piece of dental furniture.

Jeff Barnes—Senior Staff Engineer:
We design our product to be able to be used for 20 plus years, but because practices change in that 20 years, and dentistry changes, there's often times that product needs to be adapted. And so having a serviceable product that can be modified—retrofitted to new functions we thought was quite important, which was unique to the Inspire line. Some people perceive cabinetry as cabinetry. The use case of it isn't important, it's just storing stuff. But in dental there are specific needs. There is a lot of unique aspects to cabinetry in a dental environment. So when we design cabinetry or furniture, we design it specifically for the dental environment and the use cases of clinicians in the dental world.

Michael Mullen—General Manager of Dental Furniture:
It's more than just a box. During a procedure, you have to try to bring as many tools, supplies, and equipment into that space as possible, get as close to the concentric circles of the oral cavity as possible. And so we've developed a number of solutions, features and options within Inspire to support that mission. We have swing out shelves, we have pullouts. We have a whole variety of dynamic moving features and options that allow the reach to be minimized in order to maximize the procedural support.

Jeff Barnes—Senior Staff Engineer:
All of our engineering work starts with the customer, the end user, and what they need from the products they're gonna buy from us. So we first have to really understand what a clinician's needs are of cabinetry. Some local cabinet shops may not do that. They may say, you've given me a form factor to hit, but I didn't think at all about how you will use this and how that use may adapt in the future. That's something A-dec does. Within the engineering and product development process every day. The cabinetry we design and produce for our customers has been extensively tested. Medical and dental are not normal cabinetry function, so we estimate how many times a practitioner is going to press this button or this thing or open this door or drawer, and we run product through those cycles to ensure that they'll withstand the rigor and if they don't, we'll understand how they failed so that we can fix those problems and we can address those before we produce product. The reason we do all the testing up front that costs thousands of dollars and thousands of hours is to ensure that your practice is always running and to meet our brand promise that is the highest quality level in the market.

Michael Mullen—General Manager of Dental Furniture:
One of the big reasons why we developed Inspire was to always think about the betterment of dentistry and how to make the dental space as inviting as possible. We wanted the dental furniture to be something that crossed those lines between interior design optimization and procedure optimization. When the question is asked, how is this different than just any other cabinet, my response is typically the goal is for it to look like a cabinet and feel like a cabinet and be something that is not a piece of dental equipment, even though that's really what it is. If you are looking at really developing a practice to ensure your success and have a peace of mind of what you're putting into this practice as an extension of yourself, of your brand, and of your quality, we have a furniture line that meets those same expectations, and we're here to support you through your practice.
