Newberg, Ore., September 26, 2024 – In collaboration with Dentsply Sirona, A-dec is offering an innovative addition to our intraoral scanning solutions: the all-new Primescan 2*, a completely wireless, cloud-native scanner.
This next step in the partnership underscores A-dec’s dedication to providing options and cutting-edge technology that deliver where it matters most: in the treatment rooms of more dental practices.
Primescan 2 joins the Primescan Connect intraoral scanner in A-dec’s lineup of choices for taking chairside digital impressions with high accuracy, speed, and ease of use.
- Primescan Connect offers continuous power via a wired configuration, ensuring the reliability of a hardwired connection while providing the flexibility of room-to-room, plug-and-play convenience. Powered by the dedicated Primescan PC, it requires no batteries or software subscription.
- Primescan 2 delivers unmatched flexibility by eliminating the need for a cord and enabling direct-to-cloud scanning. Highly portable, it works anywhere with any device that has a suitable internet connection and enabled DS Core features, simplifying computer requirements within the operatory.
Both solutions can be used with A-dec delivery systems, giving doctors the freedom to choose the solution that best suits their practice needs, workflow, and space requirements.
